Thanks for the memories, Sweden Rock Festival, but we've gotta high tail it to Spain!!! The final 3 days and the final country of our 2011 Summer Euro Tour. Thursday, June 9 finds the lads at RockSound in Barcelona, Friday the 10th is in Bilbao at Sala Azkena, then we wrap things up in fine fashion at Gruta 77 in Madrid on the 11th. A hearty thank you to everyone that's given a helping hand or just come on out and enjoyed the shows.

Us poor saps who couldn't make the Euro trip have been left with the task of clearing out some of the vintage merch that has slipped through the cracks. After years of speculation, and discussion the fellas finally found a suitable organization to re-release the much beloved album Fat Black Pussycat. Music On Vinyl will be issuing the 1998 offering. Five Horse Johnson is pleased to announce has been added to the already stellar line-up of the Sweden Rockfest, set for June 2011. The guys have recruited Chuck Mauk (the drummer who played on the album "The No. 6 Dance") to take over on drum duties for this trip. The boys are really psyched to be added to the SRF roster and are looking forward to getting back to the friendly lands of Sweden. The song "Lightning When I need" by FHJ is featured on the soundtrack to the 2009 documentary "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia". "Worshipped by some, hated by others, the legend of the White family started growing after the release of the cult documentary The Dancing Outlaw, which put the spotlight on eldest son Jesco and his love of mountain dancing, Elvis and huffing gasoline. The rest of the family remained in the shadows until The Wild and Wonderful Whites focused on the less celebrated members of the clan.
