Five Horse Johnson are thrilled to announce the impending release (January 29, 2013) of a new album titled "The Taking Of Black Heart". Produced by J. Robbins (Jawbox, Clutch, Against Me) the new release once again features the great J.P. Gaster on drums. The album contains 11 tracks, and once again will be graced with original cover art by the great Mark Dancey. A spring world tour is also in the works.

June 9, 10, & 11 in Spain? Hell yes!....

Thanks for the memories, Sweden Rock Festival, but we've gotta high tail it to Spain!!!  The final 3 days and the final country of our 2011 Summer Euro Tour.  Thursday, June 9 finds the lads at RockSound in Barcelona,  Friday the 10th is in Bilbao at Sala Azkena, then we wrap things up in fine fashion at Gruta 77 in Madrid on the 11th.  A hearty thank you to everyone that's given a helping hand or just come on out and enjoyed the shows.

Fat Black Pussycat Vinyl Re-Release....

After years of speculation, and discussion the fellas finally found a suitable organization to re-release the much beloved album Fat Black Pussycat. Music On Vinyl will be issuing the 1998 offering. A release date is set for May 23rd 2011. The album will be released on 180 grams audiophile vinyl and includes a 12' x 24' poster!
